Thank you for your interest in Two Rivers Soccer Camp. We are looking for hard working, positive, enthusiastic, fun yet responsible individuals who are interested in being a role model for our campers (ages 7-17 years), boys and girls.
Our available positions are listed below with a brief job description and any necessary qualifications.


Staff Positions Available at Two Rivers Soccer Camp

Camp Positions:

1) Counselor

  • Responsible for the safety, welfare and happiness of all campers in assigned cabin group. Day to day involvement with campers as individuals, imparting of camp rules, policies, and traditions.
  • Build a strong and positive relationship with each and every camper assigned to cabin group; help every camper make friends, become acclimated to camp life, grow toward his / her potential, and become a part of the community.
  • Ensure campers exercise good hygiene and health practices - notify nurse of any problems
  • Directly responsible for the cleanliness and care of the physical cabin space - includes pre and post camp inventory of cabin
  • Able and willing to work with a variety of staff members in a calm, collected manner at all times
  • Participate in pre-camp staff orientation and any on-going staff development programs throughout the summer
  • Attend regular supervisory meetings (one-on-ones) with camp director
  • Review confidential camper profiles during weekly meetings
  • Participate regularly and enthusiastically in all camp programs
  • Teach, assist, or participate in activities as assigned by camp director
  • Participate in out-of-camp trips as assigned
  • Supervision of cabin groups at meals
  • Adhere to camp standards, goals, mission, philosophy, guidelines and personal grooming standards of Two Rivers Soccer Camp
  • Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to Staff Supervisor / camp director / owner.

2) Veteran Counselor

  • Must be willing to take on more camp responsibilities.
  • Take on a leadership position.
  • Lead by example and participate with training.
  • May have occasional driving responsibilities.

3) Staff Supervisor

Overall quality control of staff members. Must possess leadership skills. Assume responsibilities for supervision of staff regarding the quality of their specific duties. Encourage and praise their good efforts and success, offer solutions / resolutions for necessary areas of improvement. Responsible for counselor evaluations to help ensure high standards. Plan and assist the director with travel schedules to Reno Airport and soccer plus activities. Coordinate and plan with director the weekend schedules of campers and staff stayovers. Assign laundry duties. Responsible for clean cabin standards of entire camp and clean cabin inspection daily. Daily mail call. Supervise evening programs. Responsible for wake-up call and flag salute in the mornings and lights out and security check in the evenings. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. 4) Activity Director

Facilitate and assist in the design of a quality activities program and provide leadership and supervision of all activities for counseling staff. Minimum of 2 years of camp experience. Minimum age requirement is 24 years of age. Teaching experience is helpful! Responsible to the Camp director / owner and staff supervisor.

5) Office Manager

Must be a customer service representative for Two Rivers Soccer Camp. Must answer telephone with a professional demeanor, friendliness and efficiency. Must have good computer PC skills, must know "Word" and "Excel". Must update reports daily & manage all office needs. Assist with camp registration "Check -in" each Sunday afternoon. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office).

6) Nurse / First Aid

Must have proper credentials; RN with appropriate certification. Must love children and possess a positive attitude. Greet each camper at registration, collect medications and take each campers temperature upon arrival. Store and dispense medications daily. Attend to illness, injuries and homesickness as needed. Responsible to the camp director / owner and staff supervisor.

7) Snack Shop Manager

Assist, manage and supervise Camp Store operation. Responsible for: Keeping accurate camp store inventory, making certain Camp Store is always clean & sanitary, making certain that "health & sanitation standards" are followed by those who serve food in the camp store. Maintain accurate daily records of each camper's and staff's store account. Display and store flags of other countries and the U.S.A flag each weekend. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office).

8) Kitchen Manager/Head Cook

Must have current "Food Handler's Certificate". Must know quantity cooking & adapt to the quantities needed for the Two Rivers Camp needs. Must serve delicious meals every day and on time. Must observe "food likes" and "food dislikes" of campers and staff and consult with Directors / Owners to make menu changes if necessary. Must keep accurate and organized food inventory & make timely and efficient food orders with food vendors weekly. Must adhere to food budget. Must keep kitchen refrigerators and freezers organized and food stored in best sanitary conditions. Responsible for sanitary preparation, serving and clean-up of all camp meals according to preplanned menu. Direct kitchen assistants and help with proper and sanitary food preparation, food service, food clean-up and food storage. Must insure that all aspects of the kitchen are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at the end of each day. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. 9) Kitchen Asst/Food Prep

Must have current Food Handlers certificate. Help prepare, cook and serve meals daily according to camp menu with the direction of the Head Cook / Kitchen Manager. All food preparation and services must be in accordance with the highest sanitary standards. Assist with the proper food storage of all foods immediately after each meal service. Assist with keeping the refrigerators, freezers and food storage areas clean and organized at all times! Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to Head Cook / Kitchen Manager.

10) Dishwasher

Daily upkeep of camp dishes! Must keep all dishes and utensils sanitary/clean and sorted properly. Keep dishwashing room clean, organized and sanitary. Also responsible for all waste at conclusion of each meal period, stored in appropriate place, removed to disposal container once daily. Sanitize all receptacles daily and at the end of the last meal service. Clean and sanitize all tables daily. Meal prep each meal (utensils, napkins, ice water, and drink station). Clean outside deck after last meal service daily. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to Head Cook / Kitchen Manager, Camp Director / owner, Staff Supervisor.

11) Cabin Cleaning/Laundry

Clean all general camp areas daily (bathrooms, community spaces, etc.) Occasional Window cleaning. Through cleaning of the camp, lodge, rec room, laundry room, etc. weekly. Must adhere to Two Rivers high standards of cleanliness! Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to Staff Supervisor / Camp director / Owner.

Coaching Positions:

1) Director of Coaching

Develop, implement and supervise soccer coaching / training program for campers, ages 7-17 years. Administer and supervise World Cup tournament each week starting Wednesday evenings. Evaluate and supervise coaches in coaching / training program daily. Administer meetings bi-weekly and or weekly with Senior & Junior coaches to maintain excellent soccer training program. Prepare and present Sunday evening welcome to parents and campers. Prepare and present soccer training Health and Safety / Rules and Conduct for campers on Sunday evenings. Prepare and present Saturday closing ceremony to parents and campers. Drive and supervise staff as necessary. Must possess "A-Level" advanced credentials & have relevant experience. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to the Director (s) / owner.

2) Senior Staff Coach

Assist Senior Director of Coaching with training program for camper's ages 7 - 17 yrs. Must possess advanced level soccer credentials and have relevant coaching experience. Must participate in various other camp activities with enthusiasm and a positive attitude to demonstrate healthy role model and appropriate leadership skills. Must assist with driving responsibilities as necessary. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to director of coaching / directors.

3) Goal Keeper Coach

Assist Senior Director of Coaching with training program for camper's ages 7 - 17 yrs. Must possess advanced level soccer credentials and have relevant coaching experience. Must participate in various other camp activities with enthusiasm and a positive attitude to demonstrate healthy role model and appropriate leadership skills. Must assist with driving responsibilities as necessary. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. Must comply with electronics policy - no electronics in your personal procession (must be kept in office). Responsible to director of coaching / directors.

4) Center Forward Coach

Assist Senior Director of Coaching with training program for camper's ages 7 - 17 yrs. Must possess advanced level soccer credentials and have relevant coaching experience. Must participate in various other camp activities with enthusiasm and a positive attitude to demonstrate healthy role model and appropriate leadership skills. Must assist with driving responsibilities as necessary. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines. 5) Junior Asst Coach/Counselor

Assist Senior Staff Coach w/ training program for campers ages 7-17 yr. Must comply with camp standards and personal grooming guidelines.
