Two Rivers Soccer Camp
Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 6, 2026
1. Admission Requirement
You will not be admitted to camp without a completed and signed Terms and Conditions form, along with all required registration materials.
2. About Two Rivers Soccer Camp
Two Rivers Soccer Camp is an overnight summer camp focused on providing elite soccer training along with a traditional camp experience in an incomparable setting. Located approximately 40 miles north of Lake Tahoe on 43 acres of stunning, private property, our camp is bordered by two rivers, the Jamison and the Feather. We serve campers ages 7–17 and operate for 8–10 weeks each summer.
Given our outdoor, river-adjacent location and the physically active nature of our program, participation involves inherent risks. Parents and guardians must carefully review all sections of these Terms before completing registration.
3. Payment Authorization
Your credit card will automatically be billed by Two Rivers Soccer Camp on the date you select for “Final Payment.” Your statement will reflect Two Rivers Soccer Camp as the payee. By registering, you agree to all payment, refund, and cancellation policies outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
4. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A RISK TO MY CHILD AS A RESULT OF CAMP ACTIVITIES, AND KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK OF SUCH INJURY.
Participation in soccer, athletic training, and outdoor recreational activities involves inherent risks, including the potential for serious injury or illness. Our camp is located in an outdoor setting near two rivers, which presents additional environmental risks. By completing registration, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges these risks and agrees as follows:
I hereby waive and release the Staff, Camp Management, and Sponsors of Two Rivers Soccer Camp from any liability for any injury or illness incurred while at camp, except to the extent caused by their sole gross negligence or sole willful misconduct.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Two Rivers Soccer Camp’s total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid for the applicable session.
In no event shall Two Rivers Soccer Camp be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
5. Medical Authorization and Camper Participation
5.1 Emergency Medical Authorization
I, the parent or legal guardian of the registered Camper, give permission for my child to receive emergency medical or surgical treatment and hospitalization if necessary. I understand that every reasonable attempt will be made to contact me, or the emergency contact person named during registration, before any medical action is taken.
5.2 Camper Participation Statement
I certify that my child is physically able to participate in all camp activities and that I am not aware of any conditions that would limit their safe participation. Any known medical conditions, allergies, physical limitations, or dietary restrictions must be disclosed at the time of registration.
5.3 Financial Responsibility for Medical Care
I agree to be financially responsible for any medical attention needed during camp or resulting from an injury or illness occurring during the camp session.
6. Media Release
I understand that Two Rivers Soccer Camp may take photographs and/or videos of campers for use in promotional materials, including but not limited to website content, social media, and marketing publications. By agreeing to these Terms, I grant permission for such use without compensation.
If you wish to opt out of this authorization, you must provide written notice to info@tworiverssoccer.com prior to the start of your Camper’s session.
7. Communication Policy
Two Rivers Soccer Camp is committed to maintaining a safe and appropriate environment for all campers. Camp staff are not permitted to engage in private or personal communication with campers outside of official camp activities.
All communication between families and camp staff should occur through official camp channels. This includes email, phone, or other designated communication platforms managed by the camp.
8. Pickup Authorization Policy
If there are any questions, changes, or clarifications regarding authorized pickup persons, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to contact the camp directly in advance.
If no changes or clarifications are communicated to the camp, Two Rivers Soccer Camp will assume that all pickup arrangements are confirmed and approved by the parent or guardian, including any individuals identified by the Camper at the time of pickup.
Camp staff reserve the right to request identification and to deny release of a Camper if authorization is unclear or cannot be verified.
9. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Two Rivers Soccer Camp offers an optional Refund Insurance program to provide flexibility in the event you need to cancel your reservation.
9.1 Refund Insurance
The cost of Refund Insurance is $350.00 per week of enrollment, due with your deposit or payment at the time of initial registration. When you purchase Refund Insurance and need to cancel your reservation for any reason prior to May 1, Two Rivers Soccer Camp will refund all monies paid toward the camp fee, less the $350.00 insurance fee. No questions asked.
9.2 Cancellations After May 1 (With Refund Insurance)
If you cancel after May 1 and at least 14 days prior to the first day of your session, you will receive a credit for all monies paid toward the camp fee, to be applied toward enrollment in the subsequent year. No exceptions.
9.3 Last-Minute Cancellations
Cancellations made within 14 days of the start of your camp session will not be refunded under any circumstances. No exceptions.
9.4 Without Refund Insurance
Families who do not purchase Refund Insurance at the time of initial registration are not eligible for refunds but can still receive a credit for enrollment in the subsequent year, as long as their cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the first day of their session.
9.5 Camp-Initiated Cancellations
Two Rivers Soccer Camp reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment, severe weather, natural disaster, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, a full refund or credit toward a future session will be offered at the camp’s discretion.
10. Financial Responsibility
I agree to be financially responsible for all fees associated with my child’s participation in camp, including but not limited to tuition, incidental expenses, and any purchases made by my child at the camp store or through camp-related activities.
11. Participant Conduct
All Campers are expected to treat fellow campers, coaches, and staff with respect and to adhere to all camp rules and codes of conduct. Two Rivers Soccer Camp reserves the right to dismiss any Camper for conduct that is unsafe, disruptive, or otherwise inconsistent with our program values. No refund will be issued in cases of dismissal due to conduct.
